The GIGANT 16" 3.1 hp / 45 cm³ GSAF-09 is a chainsaw driven by a two-stroke gasoline engine of 45 cm³ rated at 3.1 hp. The model suits straightforward jobs such as cutting branches and timber. It speeds up cutting wood considerably and is indispensable for felling trees and preparing firewood. The saw has a compact 400 mm bar, a chain gauge of 1.3 mm and a chain pitch of 0.325.
The design puts safety first, so the saw has a chain brake that protects the user against kickback. It is convenient to work with and features an easy start system, so it fires up with minimal effort. Three damping bushings reduce the vibration transmitted while the engine runs.
The carburetor is simple to adjust: a screwdriver is all it takes to set the engine speed. Fuel is primed into the carburetor by a manual pump. The improved oil pump delivers dedicated chain oil that helps the chain slide and keeps the metal parts from overheating due to friction. The chain oil tank holds 260 ml, and the fuel tank holds 550 ml.
