Getting the garden ready for the season

Spring work goes faster when it is done in the right order. Clear first, cut second, wash third, and only then turn the water on.

Start with the mower

Set the cutting height high for the first pass. A lawn that spent the winter flat does not take a short cut well, and a high first pass keeps the roots covered.

Water last

Prime the pump before the first start of the season and check the suction line for air. A pump that runs dry for a minute is a pump that needs a new seal.
