Description
The GGS-979D soldering station with a 650 W hot air gun is built for professional removal and soldering of components of every kind, including SOIC, PLCC, QFP and BGA. It is a reliable, convenient and productive tool for professionals and enthusiasts working with electronics.
- High accuracy and stable temperature: the station holds the set temperature with a minimal deviation. The soldering temperature range is 200 to 480 °C and the hot air range is 100 to 500 °C. A memory function stores up to 3 sets of iron and hot air settings, which makes working with different materials easier. A dedicated sensor holds the selected temperature precisely.
- Reliability and durability: copper, steel, stainless steel, ceramics and heat-resistant plastics give the equipment a long service life. GIGANT soldering stations go through dedicated aging tests, which confirms their reliability in service.
- Comfort and ergonomics: the iron and hot air handles are shaped for comfortable work. Three interchangeable hot air nozzles of different diameter (4.5 mm, 7.3 mm, 11.3 mm) adapt the station to different tasks. The hot air gun goes to sleep automatically when it is placed in its holder, which improves safety and saves energy.
- Simple control: an intuitive control panel with an LCD display shows the current settings (soldering temperature, air temperature, air flow rate). These settings are adjusted with dedicated buttons.
- Compact and portable: the small footprint (173x131x116 mm) and light weight (1.91 kg) make the station easy to carry and store. The cable lengths (iron 1.1 m, hot air gun 1.3 m) give freedom of movement at the bench.
- The cool-down air purge after switch-off extends the service life of the tool.
