Description
Tarpaulin 4 x 6 m, 120 g/m2, blue GIGANT TENT-07 is made of high-grade polyethylene and laminated with a clear polyethylene film treated against UV radiation. That is what sets it apart from polypropylene tarpaulins, which have no UV protection, so such a canopy or cover breaks down quickly in sunlight. A polyethylene protective tarpaulin is a convenient, high-quality material for temporary sheeted shelters.
The woven polyethylene material is a rectangular sheet of extra-strong polyethylene yarn laminated on both sides with a light-stabilized film. The edge of the sheet is folded over, reinforced with a strong polymer cord and welded. The corners are strengthened with plastic inserts. Aluminum eyelets are fitted around the perimeter at 50 cm intervals.
