A drainage pump for dirty water with solids up to 35 mm: 5 m head, up to 255 l/min and a 1.5 inch outlet. A float switch protects it against dry running.
Descripción
The GIGANT GP-18 drainage pump for dirty water is used to move contaminated water out of natural ponds, irrigation channels and drainage wells, and out of flooded rooms and basements. Solid particles of up to 35 mm may pass through the pump. Use in water with larger inclusions wears the working parts and can jam the impeller.
The drainage pump has a float switch that prevents dry running. The float cable length is set according to the yield of the water body, so that the motor stops when the minimum or maximum water level is reached. This model has a bottom water intake, which has to be taken into account when setting the switch-off level. The number of starts should not exceed 20 per hour.
The pump housing is made of plastic and has a convenient handle on top for carrying and for attaching a rope. The pump develops a head of 5 m and moves up to 255 l/min. The outlet line is 1.5 inches in diameter.
