The GIGANT GPCD-24 12/24 V pulse charger is a modern automatic solution for charging and reconditioning lead-acid batteries of various types. It works with 12 V and 24 V batteries, which makes it a universal choice for cars, trucks, minibuses, special and agricultural machinery, motorcycles and other vehicles.
The model has an intelligent microprocessor control system that automatically determines the optimal charging parameters for the condition of the battery. A three-stage algorithm makes charging efficient and safe and reduces the risk of overheating, overcharging and premature battery wear. The charging process includes current stabilization, voltage stabilization and a pulse charging mode, so capacity is restored as gently as possible.
One of the main advantages of the GPCD-24 is battery reconditioning. The desulfation mode helps restore the working characteristics of batteries that have partly lost capacity in service. This extends battery life and cuts the cost of buying new batteries.
The charger is compatible with the most common types of lead-acid battery: WET, EFB, AGM and GEL. The user selects the battery type so that the charging process is set up as accurately as possible. Batteries with a capacity of 6 to 150 Ah are supported, which suits compact cars as well as commercial vehicles. Maximum charging current is 8 A.
A bright digital LCD display shows the main operating parameters, the state of charge and the current mode. The readings stay legible in poor light, which is convenient in a garage, workshop or service center.
Safety is provided by a set of protective functions. The charger has short-circuit, reverse polarity and overcharge protection, and the built-in cooling fan keeps the temperature stable in long sessions. This makes the charger reliable in both household and professional use.
Compact dimensions of 170 x 98 x 58 mm and a weight of only 0.61 kg make the unit easy to store and transport. It runs from a standard 220 V household mains supply, which keeps it convenient to use anywhere.
